Information about the job:
• To design, implement and maintain international customer networks
• To monitor ADP Call Logging System in order to adopt & deal with customer with international calls within SLA
• To update customers regularly with the progress of their support calls
• To ensure that all calls are brought to resolution as swiftly as possible, and to the satisfaction of the customer
• To provide documentation and technical solutions for our Intranets & Knowledgebase
• To assist in the maintenance of ADP's global network infrastructure
• To provide training where necessary for other members of the Network Product Group
• To assist with the provision of training for in country services staff within ADP
• To evaluate and document new products before submission to the Price Book
• To implement and utilise appointed network monitoring systems
• To attend customer sites where necessary (UK & abroad)
Information about the person:
• Excellent networking knowledge; LAN/WAN protocols, Routing, Switching, VLANs & Cisco Firewalls
• A thorough understanding of Cisco IOS is required and the successful candidate should hold a minimum Cisco CCNP or be working towards a higher level certification
• Must possess an advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN technologies, specifically MPLS and DMVPN
• Previous experience of WAN/hardware rollout project within the international arena, including the production of network diagrams and supporting documentation
• Able to work unsupervised and prioritise own workload
• Good communication skills both written and verbal are essential
• Able to work both individually and as part of a team
• Must be able to recognise when problems need upgrading/escalating to a Consultant
• Must be able to take ownership of problems and see them through to a satisfactory conclusion
• Must be professional at all times as attendance at customer meetings may be required
• Presentation/Training skills may be required
